Arthur! (or Fifty Shades of Grail)

arthur
The end of term is nearly upon us, therefore it must be time for the OULES show!
Come join the quest for the grail with the motley-est assortment of knights you've ever seen! Round Table or not, they're ready for any fight, with swords in their hands and songs in their hearts.
Will Percival ever find the grail? Can Pellinore catch his beast? Is anyone going to point out that Guinevere's in Lancelot's lap? Will Arthur ever notice that's his sister? And why does Mordred look so much like the king?

Come join us in the Moser theatre, Wadham College
Tuesday-Thursday 8th Week (17th - 29th November) 19:30

£4 for students, children, senior citizens etc; £5 for everyone else

Narnia! in the wet…

narnia
Now I know that Narnia is famous for it's snow… but all we seem to be getting here is rain. Given the high likelihood of rain this week, we've secured wet weather venues for the shows! Tuesday will be the Pilch Theatre on Jowett Walk, Wednesday and Thursday will be the Wadham College Ante-chapel.

Narnia! in the wet…

narnia
That's right - once again it's the time of year to dust out your best heckles and get yourself down to Wadham Gardens for a night of magic, mayhem and missed cues with our adaptation of C.S. Lewis' “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.”

Will Aslan defeat the fiendish White Witch? Will four ordinary children from Finchley turn out to have the necessary skill set to win a battle and rule a magical nation? Will Edmund get any Turkish Delight? And will the cast find the maturity to get through the show without giggling at the word “beaver”?

Extra cool stuff!

As well as our main show “Piracy!” we'll be doing some other extra cool stuff too!

We'll be doing some workshops for schools that'll probably focus on improv games and stuff. We'll need a few people who'll be confident with teaching games to kids and preferably at least a couple who've done some sort of work with kids before.

We're going to put together a variety show with sketches/songs/possibly a bit of improv and take it busking. We'll need plenty of people to act/sing and ideas or pre-written songs and sketches.

If you're interested in either of the above then E-mail our Homes and Schools Liaison Office, Sasha
